MEZCAL EL NUEVE
Alma de México
In San Baltazar Guelavila, Oaxaca, ancestral mezcal is still made the way it has always been made. Triple distillation in clay pots produces a spirit of rare depth and provenance, one that carries the weight of generations in every batch. The packaging honours that lineage: a traditional one-litre bottle that makes no attempt to modernise what needs no improvement.

Our discovery stage led to a visual language built around a single idea: an unbroken thread connecting the first inhabitants of the Oaxaca Valley to the hands that make this mezcal today. Deep roots and simple tools. These are unapologetic spirits that carry the roughness of their origin and the quiet sublimity of what that origin produces.

El Nueve is more than a product for San Baltazar Guelavila. It is a living part of the community's identity, a craft passed between generations that sustains both a way of life and a way of making. To have contributed to how this mezcal presents itself to the world is a responsibility we took seriously.
