KRAITZ PINOT NOIR ROSE
Marlatt Vineyard
When a family business passes from one generation to the next, the central question is always the same: what do you carry forward and what do you leave behind. For Marlatt Vineyard, the answer across three generations has been consistent. Respect for legacy, understood both as family heritage and responsibility to the local ecosystem, sits at the foundation of everything the estate does, including its commitment to organic wine production.

The Kraitz Rosé packaging draws its decorative language from the natural world that surrounds the vineyard. A rattlesnake and bats, native inhabitants of the Eola-Amity Hills, are illustrated across the label in a nod to the wildlife that shares this landscape with the vines. They are not conventional choices for a wine label, which is precisely the point. The design reflects the estate's organic commitment with the same directness the new generation brings to the wine itself.

Pinot Noir is among the most demanding grape varieties in the world, thin-skinned, disease-prone and acutely sensitive to climate. It demands a long, cool growing season with sufficient rainfall and significant temperature variation between day and night. The Willamette Valley, and the Eola-Amity Hills within it, answers those demands with unusual precision, which is why this corner of Oregon has become one of the definitive addresses for Pinot Noir outside of Burgundy.
