CIDRE SAINT OÜEN
Pays d’Auge, Normandy

Saint Oüen is a traditional farmhouse cider from Pays d'Auge, Normandy, made from 100% bittersweet apple juice. Its fermentation relies entirely on wild yeasts dormant within the apple flesh since pollination, a process that makes the land's own biology the author of the final drink. The result carries the appellation contrôlée Pays d'Auge, a designation that reflects both the rigour of its production and its deep rootedness in this particular corner of Normandy.

The brief was to bring a younger audience into an authentic regional product without compromising what made it worth preserving. The existing brand had grown dated, and the work began with a disciplined refinement of the classic logo. Applied ceramic labelling, one of the oldest techniques in glass decoration, was chosen to integrate that mark directly into the bottle. The design draws on cultural references native to the Pays d'Auge, grounding the refreshed identity firmly in the place that defines the product.
